Circulation Heaters
The circulation heaters that Hedin Heaters supply are suitable for heating all liquids and gases, including water, fuel and oil.
Consisting of a heating chamber with a heater assembly bolted inside, the assembly is made up of a series of rod elements which are then formed into the required shape. The circulation heater can be tailored specifically to you to ensure it meets your exact needs. This includes offering elements sheathed in a variety of metals including copper, steel, incoloy, or another suitable metal with an appropriate watts density rating.
Baffles are normally fitted to increase the flow of liquid or gas past the elements and so preventing local overheating or carbonisation. The heating chamber is normally a carbon steel shell, flanged at one end and blanked off at the other end. Inlet and outlet pipes are welded to the shell at each end to take the flow of liquid or gas and a drain plug can be supplied where required.
Larger models will be fitted with lifting lugs and feet for vertical or horizontal mounting, but if you require any other specific additions to your circulation heater our team will be happy to assist.
When temperature control is required, a thermostat tube is brazed into the flange to take the sensing bulb, and a thermostat is mounted onto the casing.
